The U.S. Army has awarded a $230 million, 5-year production contract to Sun Test Systems, Inc. for the AGPU 1.1, a next-generation Aviation Ground Power Unit that enhances safety, efficiency, and maintenance support for current and future rotary wing aircraft.
The AGPU 1.1 replaces the 40-year-old AGPU 1.0, offering improved fuel efficiency, quieter operation, and advanced hydraulic purification.
